PITCH: Retrospective: “Scribbler”, my narrative game pitch
Scribbler is a level based adventure game where the player controls a teenager who has been accused of murder and has to evade the police and go to dangerous lengths involving a gang conspiracy to find the evidence to prove himself innocent. The idea explores the main theme of identity and who you believe people are, as well as challenging who you look up to as you start to mature.
PITCH: City of Pearls: My Bahraini-inspired game pitch
A pitch for “CIty of Pearls”, a game set in an alternate version of Bahrain in the 70s, where pearl diving is still the main practice of the people in Bahrain! This story is a loose adaptation of the Epic of Gilgamesh, where the main character must find the secret to immortality to save his mother’s life!
