Ahmed Dadabai
Hi, my name is Ahmed Dadabai, and I am a Game Designer from Bahrain. As a kid, I grew up playing superhero games with my dad, which he used as examples to teach me about helping people. My mom is an artist, so I have been drawing since I could hold a pen! Making stylized, action-packed games inspired by comic books, martial arts, and painting is my way of embodying my parents’ spirit in my work!
I earned my BFA in Game Design from New York University (NYU) Game Center. I love prototyping new game ideas with engines like Unreal and Unity. As a fighter, I translate my experience as a martial artist into combat designs that encourage mastery and strategy! Games like Gismonda and Fire Raiders are all about strategizing with style.
As a storyteller, I am passionate about creating new worlds inspired by real-world cultures and using skills in Storyboarding and 3D Animation to bring new concepts to life. Downtown Train embodies an experience of unrequited love in a busy city life, while Untitled Fight Scene focuses on how it feels to be in the middle of a ringside fight.
I’d love to get in touch and work together! Check out more of my work and ideas!
