DEV LOG: Fire Raiders: I showed the Game at LaMama NYC!
The International Students Arts Incubator (ISA)
A few months ago, I got into a program called the International Students Arts Incubator (ISA) at NYU, which provides resources for students to showcase a creative project at the end of the semester at the renowned LaMama Experimental Theatre in New York City! The program also guides students through the process and requirements of securing the O-1 Visa, giving us mentorship from creative professionals and connections to opportunities of creative development! You can find more information on their site: https://wp.nyu.edu/productionlab/isa/ !
Development of Fire Raiders
As my creative project I pitched Fire Raiders, using ISA resources and mentorship to expand on the gameplay and narrative of the project. I was also guided by my mentors, Daniel Leeman Smith, Tammy Swoops, and Jeff Petriello to improve my skills in production and project planning throughout development on the project. Over the last few months I worked on expanding Fire Raiders’, more on that on this post: DEV LOG: Fire Radiers Milestone Update!
Time for Showcase!
Lots of people got to try out Fire Raiders after months of development and refinement of the systems! Here are some snippets from the event! I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this amazing collection of artists, from musicians to filmmakers, to actors, directors, and so many more creatives, and am excited to keep learning from these deeply creative and unique people I’ve met!
