One More Floor

A desolate, dark, ravaged world. Overrun. Lost. Creatures lurk in every corner, every shadow, waiting where the light cannot reach. In One More Floor, you play as a child trapped inside a crumbling building, surrounded by terrifying, mysterious enemies. Your only hope is to fight your way through each floor, navigating room by room toward freedom.

Use your flashlight to reveal what hides in the dark, but stay alert! Enemies only appear when they are within your beam. Scavenge weapons like guns, knives, and limited ammo to survive tense, explosive encounters. Every floor ends at an elevator, but what lies beyond is never the same.

DEVELOPMENT

Art

I designed and created all core character and enemy sprites, establishing a distinct visual style that supported the game's dark, tense atmosphere. I also created top-down weapon sprites for player use, along with side-view variants for ground pickups and user interface elements. This included designing all guns in the game and creating consistent visual states for when weapons are held, dropped, or displayed in the inventory.

Programming

I developed the base procedural generation system used to create randomized levels for each playthrough. This system handled room layout, object placement, and floor progression, creating fresh environments that kept the player on edge.
